EATING OUT
Enjoy a ten minute walk into the lovely village of Menheniot which offers an excellent country pub with a family room, renowned for generous servings. For somewhere special take a five minute drive to the Hayloft restaurant, the food is superb and served in a friendly atmosphere. There are many fine restaurants in nearby Looe and Polperro to please every taste. Plymouth is a short drive away which offers Ice Skating, Cinema and the Theatre. |
WALKING
We provide several books and leaflets so you can plan breath taking walks along coastal paths, or find high view points on the moors which are only 4 miles away. Woodland trails in spring are covered with a vivid carpet of Bluebells. |
CYCLING
Bring your own bikes or hire them at the start of the Camel trail which follows the old railway line from Bodmin to Padstow, you can also ride though lovely Cardinham woods. Other rides are to be found in the area, information available. |
